Stallings, Christina, PhD

Tuberculosis researcher Christina Stallings, PhD, is the Theodore and Bertha Bryan Professor in Environmental Medicine and a professor of molecular microbiology at WashU Medicine. Her research primarily focuses on tuberculosis (TB), the most prevalent bacterial disease globally. She investigates how TB bacteria evade the immune system and resist antibiotics, allowing them to persist in the human body for extended periods.
