TRR332 attends the European Phagocyte Workshop 2024 in Hungary

With more than 100 participants from 15 countries, the 40th European phagocyte workshop was held in the picturesque town of Visegrád (Hungary) at the banks of the Danube. Among the participants were 10 delegates form the TRR332 of which six gave oral presentations. This year’s keynote speaker was Laiguan Ng who presented novel concepts of neutrophil diversification with a specific emphasize on neutrophils in cancer. A highlight of the meeting was the congress dinner at Visegrád castle where Markus Sperandio was crowned king. The TRR332 labs also were surprised by a poster award to Almke Bader for her study on Themis2 in neutrophil recruitment.
