TRR332 attends the European Phagocyte Workshop with more than 30 members
With more than 250 participants, the 39th European phagocyte workshop held in Budapest attracted a record number of participants. Among these were more than 30 delegates form the TRR332. The meeting was held on the beautiful Margaret Island and featured a spectacular line-up of speakers, part of which were sponsored by TRR332. Among the invited speakers Paul Kubes held the keynote lecture and Carlos Silvestre-Roig represented the TRR332. The TRR 332 labs also were surprised by two awards, the best oral presentation for Mathis Richter (Soehnlein group, WWU Münster) and one of the poster awards for Matteo Napoli (Sperandio group, LMU Munich). The atmosphere of the entire meeting was accurately described by Sussan Nourshargh as "a family reunion" allowing for energetic discussions in the plenum but also the poster session. were to be seen all around the posters. It was the perfect place for catching up with former colleagues and making new connections, for us, especially to witness the new developments in the neutrophil realm. Looking much forward to the European Phagocyte workshop next year!
